Reason2Smile is currently involved in two projects abroad and one large project throughout the United States.
The Jambo Jipya Academy and Children's Home was the original project that gave Keela the inspiration to start Reason2Smile. It is a school and orphanage that educates, feeds, and provides medical care and a safe environment for over 300 children in Mtwapa, Kenya.
While in the United States, Keela travels to schools, churches, board meetings, farmer's markets, Ironman triathalons, neighborhood events, and anywhere else she can to help spread the word and educate people about the struggles for children in developing countries. The key to action is first education, and this first step begins the process of creating a more supportive and engaged worldwide environment.
Reason2Smile approved AMAF Primary and Secondary School as an affiliated project in August 2012. This school provides food and an education to 500 low income children living in Nairobi, Kenya.
